There is only one absolute truth we know of. All things end. Where there's a beginning, there has to be an ending and the only way around that is never to begin at all. Maybe that's backwards logic--or just stupid--maybe it's self-preservation.
In the end, something dies and someone cries.
I'd rather be the killer than the weeper.

But I guess even the fiercest of cynics is still a hopeless romantic. You could call me one if you really want to. I want to believe there's such a thing as love, namely true love, I've just seen no actual proof of it. Movies, literature, music, legends; they don't count 'cause we know it's just fiction or embellished bias. Right?
I'll be an explorer with my guard up in the face of danger, hunting the "legend of true love."
*****
I admit it. I want to find love and feel it. Like Bonnie and Clyde, Tristan and Isolde, Cupid and Psyche. I want it to be Mindy and ______, a living testimony to the existence of love, to stand the test of tie for cynics yet unborn.

"You'll have to face it, the endings are all the same however you slice it. Don't be deluded by any other endings, they're all fake, either deliberately fake, with malicious intent to deceive, or just motivated by excessive optimism if not by downright sentimentality." - Margaret Atwood, 'Happy Endings'
See, I'm not alone in my feelings on endings. Granted it appears a very feminist feeling, as my like-minded theorists seem exclusively feminists.

If I can't see you again... We'll see us on the next life, when both be cats

Why be capable of feelings if we're not to have them? Why long for something if it's not meant to be ours? I want to know that there's more to this life, and I can't know that if they kill you.

what we dont know can only inhibit us.
